Zero Waste is a lifestyle that focuses on sending zero waste to landfills, oceans or into the air (through incinerators). A Zero Waste life is based on the 5 R principles- Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rot, in that order. We understand that a zero waste life may be intimidating to start and sustain, however, we strongly support zero waste chef, Anne-Marie Bonneau’s famous saying, “We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly, We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.”
